Why Get Involved?

At Clean Projects, we’re building a better Benoni, one brush stroke, bag of rubbish, and act of community care at a time. And we need hands, heart, and hustle — which is where you come in.
Whether you're here to clock service hours, build your leadership creds, or just want to make a visible difference where you live — this is your place.
You don’t need experience.
You don’t need gear.
You just need to show up.

How It Works
When
We host cleanups and community projects most weekends and sometimes during school holidays. You can join as often as you like — even once makes a difference.

What You'll Do
You'll help with things like:
Picking up litter
Planting trees and flowers
Painting playgrounds and curbs
Clearing storm drains and walkways
Sorting recycling and counting bags

​(We’ll guide you through everything. No experience needed.)
​
Who Can Join
Grade 10–12 students from any school.
Come solo, bring a buddy, or get your whole class involved.
Scout groups, clubs, and prefect teams welcome too.

What You'll Need
We provide gloves, bags, tools, and support.
You bring:
A hat
Water bottle
Good shoes
Positive vibes
Your logbook (if you’re tracking hours)

Earn Your
Certificate of Service
Put in the time. Walk away with more than just dirt under your nails.
If you complete 10 or more hours with Clean Projects, we’ll hook you up with an official Certificate of Service — recognising your effort, your impact, and your commitment to building a cleaner, kinder Benoni.
