THE PROBLEM
The grass was long after lots of summer rain, the kerbing on Malcolm Street hadn’t been cleared in years and the paint work was completely faded. The Big Walk organised by the World Of Wellness was coming up and Clean Projects was the event beneficiary.
WHAT WE DID
We cut the grass around the entire bunny park and then raked most of it up to ensure the next cut would look very neat. We cleared the kerbing on Malcolm street and repainted it. We planted succulents on the triangle and launched the bottle top recycling heart initiative together with Sandor from World of Wellness.
WHO MADE IT HAPPEN
We partnered with the World of Wellness Centre to host the event and had a group of students from Hans Moores “Moories Gaan Groen” group as well as members of Smart Technology Centre join us for the morning.
